3 HOURS TOUR IN SIENA

1 DAY TOUR IN SIENA

2 DAYS TOUR IN SIENA

3 DAYS TOUR IN SIENA

3 Hours in Siena

In a short trip of a few hours you can only see the two points of greatest interest in the city: Piazza del Campo, with the Torre del Mangia and Palazzo Pubblico, and the complex of the Duomo and Santa Maria della Scala.

But already moving from one square to another, passing from Via di Città or along Via dei Pellegrini and the stairs that flank the Baptistery of San Giovanni, is enough to be enchanted by the beauty of Siena and realize how many things are to do and to see to which you must give up when you have such a short time available

1 Day in Siena

One day in Siena allows you to see the city, its main and most famous monuments, the most popular streets, but without being able to deepen the knowledge of all that interests.

The route is the classic one: Piazza del Campo, the Torre del Mangia, a visit to the Majesty by Simone Martini in the Civic Museum, the ascent along Via di Città to the Duomo and the ancient Hospital of Santa Maria della Scala (today a museum complex of great interest and liveliness for its exhibitions) and then continue towards the imposing Basilica of San Domenico and the Casa-Sanctuary of the Sienese Santa Caterina da Siena.

2 Days in Siena

In two days you can start to have a “enough” complete picture of Siena.

After a first day dedicated to the most popular things – for example – you can devote yourself to discovering a larger part of the city, especially the one south of Piazza del Campo, and deepen your interests better.

There is time to see the masterpieces of Sienese art at the National Art Gallery, or relax in the green areas inside the city like the Orto de ‘Pecci or the Orti de’Tolomei (with a beautiful panoramic view of the city and the countryside), or learn more about the typical cuisine and the food and wine excellences.

In any case, one must always renounce something. And it’s a pity!

3 Days in Siena

In three days you can say that you have seen Siena in depth, discovering the less known things and especially having really “breathed” the particular atmosphere of this city.

You have time to get out of the traditional routes to discover surprising corners such as the Castellare degli Ugurgieri, the small characteristic streets of the city (Vicolo degli Orefici, Via della Carrozze, Vicolo degli Orbachi), carefully visit the ancient hospital of Santa Maria della Scala or museums of the city, climb the Torre del Mangia or on the façade of the new Duomo, take photographs in the most scenic or curious spots.

We can assure you that just because you’ve got to know Siena so well, you’ll soon want to come back.
